James Webb Space Telescope: Future of Space Astronomy

James Webb Space Telscope (JWST or
Webb) is the largest, most powerful infrared space telescope ever built.
JWST has been built with international collaboration of three space
agencies NASA (National Aeronautics & Space Administration), ESA
(European Space Agency) & CSA (Canadian Space Agency) with brilliant
minds including engineers & scientists from 14 countries.
The
launch date of JWST / Webb is December 22, 2021. JWST / Webb will be
launched on an Ariane 5 rocket from Arianespace's ELA-3 launch complex
at European Spaceport located near Kourou, French Guiana. With a cost of
around $10 billion, JWST / Webb will be a premier observatory & a
successor to Hubble Space telescope.
